171,000 deaths per year for meningococcal disease (worldwide) and last year 250 deaths from cot death (in australia alone)...cant locate world figures for that
point is we cant live in a bubble and we are open to various factors affecting life or quality of, but you cant avoid death and you have weigh up the option of staying away from the isle of smile or try and protect your kids from everything 'deadly' in the world.
