I'm at work in the airport baggage claim hall, and the atmosphere for the Bali arrivals is really sombre and eerily quiet. The Federal police have desks set up and they are interviewing every passenger, and getting everyone to fill out a form. There are also counsellers on hand to assist if required. The passengers all look a bit shell shocked and nobody is talking much. I normally love working the Bali arrivals as the passengers are so pumped up and relaxed and happy, but its a little different tonight. Just wanted to share, and it is great to see how organised our authorities are.
