This was/is going to be our first trip without the kids too and we have been looking forward to this for a while. We have discussed the situation over the last 24hrs and are waiting...I think we will go but our families have been urging us to cancel. The kids (13 & 16)haven't really expressed a strong opinion but are obviously concerned if we go. I hate the idea of letting these bastards achieve their goal but I worry about something happening from the kids perspective. With the beefed up security and extra awareness I feel that these mongrels would be scurrying for cover...maybe I'm just looking for some justification to go! Not an easy decision and one that each has to weigh up for themselves. It's great to be able to share thoughts and support on the forum. THANKS!
