on the phone now for over an hour with members of my family about our planned trip in December.
My sister dosent have access to the internet at home so all she has seen is what they are showing on the TV..pay TV so its on all day and she cant stop watching. She said before I called all she had is negatives. The news is showing such an ugly side of Bali and only interviewing those who were there at the time of the bomb. When I told her about the people here and there love for Bali and how people have made their decisions to both stay and go she was so much happier.
She is till yet to make a decision. At this point we will see what is happening with refunds (very aware we have very little chance of getting on) and if not available we will keep our bookings giving us 9 weeks to make a choice. She so wants to go but her husband at the moment is totally against it and she needs to consider the kids. People who have never been to Bali today have actually told her its not a destinations for kids any way!!! What crap... I think its perfect. She wishes she had this forum to read.
I want to thank everyone on this forum for their words, stories and advice, all is so appreciated :) I will keep you all informed with our decisions and wait for those who have left today and in the next few weeks to return and share their JBR's.
