I think we should remember that the Australian government has a vested interest in issuing travel warnings to Australians. The more people that cancel overseas holidays the more people are going to holiday in Australia thus helping the economy thus making the government look better. Sure there are risks going overseas. There always has been. But please let's not become paranoid.
