October 2002. It was a really tough decision to make and we left it until the last possible moment - travel agent gave us plenty of time to make up our minds before final payment etc.
We had friends and family saying we were crazy especially taking our young son with us. My mum wasn't at all happy when we decided to go - geez, I'm 43 and she still worries about me bless her.
You have to do what's best for you.
We went then and really enjoyed our holiday and have been twice since then as well.
We will definitely go back to Bali next year as planned, but I have to say that if I was going in the next couple of weeks, I honestly think I would postphone it 'till later on.
December is a little while away and things will hopefully calm down a bit and you can take some time to review your choices.
