Hi All. Like everyone else I am shocked, & afraid at what this will
do to our wonderful Bali & it's very kind & wonderful people, "Our
Friends".This morning I had 9hrs. to make a very hard decision, to
go or not to go,(leaving Melb.11.05am) With much sadness I cancelled,naturally for each of us there are many personal reasons that have to be considered in a time like this. I am a regular to
"our island" I have been every 6 months for the past 5 years & many
times in the prior 19 years,& believe me I will be back there again
as soon as I can, they need all the support & help that they can get.
My heart goes out to all of the people & their families who have been
hurt by this, yet another disaster.
I went to the airport this morning,for those travelling today Air Paradise will refund the price of airline ticket, it has to be
returned to the travel agent tomorrow, the accomm. has to be
negioted between them & the supplier & the hotel as to whether there
will be some sort of refund, paying a cancellation fee or whatever
(I was on a package deal). To all those in Bali now, keep safe.
For most of the rest of us,we will soon be back to our beloved
"Isle of Smiles" & all our wonderful friends.
