Glad to here that you are stll going. We were there in Jun/July for our 3rd time and we still intend to go back near year but doubt whether our friends will go with us. Hopefully I am wrong. W
In 2002 we were due there 4 weeks after the bomb on our way back from Europe. Initially we were going to still go but I'm afraid I ended up getting cold feet and persuaded my husband to spend extra time in Thailand instead. It was to be our first trip. I think if we had been there before we probably would have still gone and we were booked at Sanur. We promised ourselves we would go there when things settled down and had our first trip in Ausgust 2003. Like most people we loved the place and the people and so keep on returning. Like all forumites I am worried about the lovely people and how they will survive this as it will really dent the economy.
