We were in Bali in April and decided to buy a dictionary to learn a bit more of the language. For those of you that know Bali, you will know that when you pull up to the traffic lights, several children will gather around your car, knocking on the windows trying to sell you the daily paper. Well what they are actually trying to sell you is the front page of the daily paper with an old paper in between. So we pull up at the lights, kids surround the van doing the usual "you buy paper". As we start pulling away, i open the window and yelled out "you are perampok!" Well the kids were rolling around on the road laughing their tits off, as were we. What i had said was "you are a robber" From then on that was my favourite word, especially when a hawker down on the beach would try selling me a watch for 500,000 RUP!
