Spoke to Garuda here in Perth. They are offering a full refund of airticket if travelling this week however they are unsure of accomodation whether that is refunded. They want cancellations today or tomorrow.
I am still undecided leaving Tuesday with a 6 year old and staying in Kuta will speak to agent tomorrow about staying somewhere else and make decesion from there. I am so saddened by this. Was there in 2002 in Sari club when the bomb went off. Stayed in Bali for 2 days after that and it was just a sad place to be. Went back 2 months later and it was still very sad and deserted. I feel for the Balienese and have been back 10 times since then and have loved it. But this time I am really feeling a sense of fear which i have never ever felt before.
