If you go to Bali it would be best to stay and eat and sightsee OUTSIDE of the popular tourist areas of South Bali. Kuta, Tuban, Legian, Seminyak and their surroundings, and Sanur and Nusa Dua are all HIGH RISK BECAUSE THEY ARE SO POPULAR WITH FOREIGN TOURISTS. But Ubud, Amed, Candidasa, Tulamben, Padangbai, Lovina, and other less-frequented spots would be MUCH SAFER because the bombers have no interest in those places.
