no point in feeling useless. Glenn and you father are right about not going. Bali will still be there in a month or 2 months, and you can return then. Some of us wont be deterred from returning like you and me, and sometimes we have to remember that loved ones need to feel as comfortable with our decisions as we do.
Lets just be thankful we have tracked down all the aussie mates we have there at the moment and have accounted for Balinese friends too.
