Hi! I just had the combination Hep A & B (Twinrix or something like that). They cost $55 each shot, and because I sort of needed them in a hurry, the regime is a bit different. You have 3 initial shots - one on the first day, next one in 7 days time and the third 14 days after that one (total of 14 days from the first one). You need a booster 12 months time again. Then the dr (and the instruction leaflet that comes with the meds) says every 10 yrs after that.
I also had Typhoid - that cost about $40 from memory. The Dr just gave me the tetanus (gues it was covered by Medicare).
But to answer your original question, the pharmacist asked if I needed Tax Invoice to claim from my health fund, which I didn't, but got chatting and she said that some top brackets cover the cost of the injection.
