Still had a bit more time in the afternoon so managed to get the usual money changed and put the laundry in which is so cheap its ridiculous. this is done at the tiny DVD type shop just outside where reception usually is near the Ramayana.
One of the ladies i know that works there called Annie who just makes her $ by doing nails etc was around so took her a bag of clothes toiletries etc from the mound in our room with much appreciation as usual.
Just have to wonder what the room cleaners think. Made their job easy, not more than a few inches of available floor space to clean what with the 20 soccer balls already inflated plus about 100kgs of clothes toys school things,containers of lollies etc plus our shopping which had already started to accumulate amongst the piles.
Had lunch around the pool which is always quite reasonable around $7 great for the convenience.
Then decided on a quick look down at Mataharis .
SHOULDVE bought any of the Revlon ;lipsticks which i did get 2 were $3 each, toner,cleanser were $6 and the really good moisturiser was around $20 eye cream $14 etc Also the Estee Lauder gift packs i looked at which were the Pleasures intense perfume plus body cream were around $85 and as i didnt get it have just paid $123 just for the perfume so quite a good buy.
Shoes once again were great if they have the sizes left.
Asked about the leather wallets they used to have in every colour just outside the entrance but now only have black so no sales there..
Back to the Ramayana and off to La Lucciolas at 5 ready for the sunset. Dropped off by Made who picked us up later. Its such a beautiful setting was even a marriage proposal at the table next to us which was surprised he hadnt changed his mind after listening to us at the next table for a while.. Had a lovely meal and you certainly couldnt get better waiting staff anywhere. Decided we would also come for breakfast after we had a look at the menu.
Back to the hotel for a sort of early night with the few pre bed cocktails and a swim ready for our day on the beach in the am with the orphanage kids.. Cont
