have U been befopre & where R U staying - right in Kalibukbuk - near the Dolphin statue ? If you haven't been there before please take the time to chill out & get to make friends with some locals. It is worth it- completely different pace up North.
We know Lovina pretty well, stayed there heaps - you must go to the Jasmine Thai place just in the lane off the main street,The cafe that make fresh bread including baguettes - a few doors North of Rambutan cottages - great for chicken, lettuce, avocado & mayo baquettes for lunch,Funky Monkey on the beach (Aussie owner)- few steps from the dolphin statue- great for late afternoon cocktails & snacks ( nothing fancy)
Call into the hairdressers a bit North from Rambutan & say I send my love - if you can't remember my name - just say the Aussie hairdresser that stays at Rambutan.
Another great place to eat is on the foreshore - same side of the street as Rambutan- tell Jai ( the owner ) & the staff that send my love.If you say I am friends with Troy from "La Scala " restaurant at Tanjung Benoa they will know me.
If you want some great bargains re shopping go & see my friend Tini - shop right across from Rambutan entrance - has birds in cage up high out the front.I am sure you will Lovina as much as we do.It's our little slice of peace & tranquilty In Bali.
