Got some valued advise from this forum the most important thing was make sure they have holiday insurance which we paid for here in Oz but have since been advised is available is Bali. You need to send a letter of invitation, we also had to send our bank statement proving that we could provide for our guest, I also emailed direct the consulate and our friend got her visa in 1 day which was amazing. Hope this helps
