Personally I found most of the restaurants in Sengiggi expensive and not that great. There was a nice little place that we went to on the main street though - I can't remember the name but it is right next to an internet cafe on the side of the road near the beach. It began with 'B' as far as I can remember! Lots of the restaurants were giving starters away or offering discounts when we were there to get customers in.
In Gili T, there is one place that I can't recommend enough - it is cheap, and run by an Australian man (he does all the cooking) and his Indonesian wife. They have a little girl called Jessica and the place is called Jessica's Beach Cafe. if you walk away from central and towards the snorkelling beach you'll see it. The food is fantastic - particularly the curries, naan bread and burgers. The service is great too, the Aussie guy is very friendly and always comes out to see if everything is okay.
