I would be very sceptical of a CBA staff member saying that they have a branch in Denpasar. BCA definitely has a majority or minority share holding in an Indonesian bank called PT Bank Commonwealth (and I would expect that Bank Commonwealth has a branch/atm in Bali), but it is not the same bank. The accounts are not interconnected in that you can go to any CBA branch in Australia and get the same treatment over the counter as if it were the branch where you opened the account.
