I think (and know from first hand experience through work) that the media is only interested in the "bad" angle because that's what sells papers, magazines etc. Good stories don't sell, unfortunately. The best way around it is to disregard the media and make up your own mind. Reading the BTF is a good indication of what it's like over there and it sounds pretty damn good! Can't wait to go back in April next year.
