As he goes about his work keeping people on line he (Siddiq) finds out about the new computers they've bought and therefore the old ones they have that become surplus to their needs. A phone call to him early in our stay gave him time to make a few calls and he came up with 3 laptop options for us a few days later. By the time we got back down south however there was only the NEC left.
Desktop models might be a bit easier than laptops but I have no experience with getting these from him so I can't be certain.
