I am out of Adelaide, and both airlines use same type of planes from here. Check with your agent as to what planes are used from your departure point. I think both airlines are excellent, only went on AP last time because of the wholesaler's package suited my arrangements. Being a big fan of GA, I thought it would be good to try AP and compare the two. In future I would not give a hoot as to who my agent booked me through. They are both great services, both have good food, seat config same from my experience. AP will upgrade to super economy for extra $300 return (ex Adelaide), and you sit in business class seating, and get an extra 10kg baggage allowance. Only time I had problems flying to Indo was with Qantas a few years ago. hope this helps.
