Mary or Jane, I guess. Our Nyoman is at stall 126 of the Art Markets. She is not fixed price but we have been shopping with her for the past 20 years and we don't even bother to barter with her anymore because we know she will look after us and we will get good quality things. We first met her in 1985 and went back again in 1987. She remembered us as soon as she saw us. Last year we went back again after all that time and she remembered us after a couple of reminders of when we were there. She has our photo up in her stall.
The translation site is http://www.toggletext.com/kataku_trial.php
You type in English and select "english to Indo" or type in Indonesian and select "indo to english". There are many dialects so it will be a bit hit and miss but they got the general gist of the letter I sent them and the letter she sent me sort of made sense. I just think it is polite to try and make some kind of attempt to learn about their culture, language etc when you are in their country. I have been trying to learn Bahasa and a bit has seeped in but I am not very fluent so I hope no one wants to have a full blown conversation with me.
Anyway, hope you enjoy the translation website.
Maria
