Hi Bradnwen we have been there 3 times now the first two times were without our kids in the early nineties , but last year we decided to take our youngest who was nine then , we organised everthing, hotels we were going garuda we had all the dates finely tuned and then i read one
of those dfat warnings and that was that ,we immediatly cancelled and went to Vanuatu and Fiji instead [ a great holiday dont get me wrong ]So this year we decided to take the holiday we had organised the year prior to Bali
same hotels etc etc and we didnt take notice of the warnings we just went,that was last July and we had an absolutely fantastic time , I can see your concern though especially with your children we had the same doubts too but in the end you just have top weigh up the risks involved
and is it really safe anywhere now .
I think you will have a great time in Bali and they really love kids too
