Was just reading the thread on excess baggage. Did anyone manage to find out how much extra you are charged per kilo overweight on departure and whether this can be paid in AU$ or Rp??
I am going in 6 weeks and want to get Chrissie pressies over there....has anyone had experience with posting things home?? (just gifts, not furniture and stuff!) I did it once from Jakarta about 15 years ago and sea mail took about 3 months. Would be interested to hear about anyone who has posted things home and whether or not they had any problems with customs at this end
