The latest warning was made by the indonesion president, and basically warned of a expected bombing in the next two months of a large western target within Indonesia (expected to be Jakarta). You know it's serious if the president is making the warning. If you want the story, here is the text from The Age website:
>A MAJOR terrorist attack in Indonesia is imminent, President Susilo >Bambang Yudhoyono has warned.
>
>A bombing was likely to occur in Jakarta over the next two months, >Dr Yudhoyono told a conference of newspaper editors yesterday.
>
>An Australian embassy spokeswoman confirmed intelligence indicated >an attack was looming, and restated warnings that Australians >should avoid Indonesia. "We believe terrorists are planning an >attack at this very moment," she said.
>
>The British embassy in Jakarta was evacuated after a suspicious >package was received. Police later said the package contained prawn >crackers and a Walkman.
>
>The attack would probably be aimed at a high-profile Western >target, Dr Yudhoyono said. "We know the terrorists cells are still >active. They are still hiding, recruiting, networking, trying to >find new funding and even planning another strike."
>
>Jemaah Islamiah's most senior operatives, Azahari bin Husin and >Noordin Mohamed Top, are believed to be hiding near Jakarta, with >enough explosives to launch at least one large-scale attack. The >pair are believed to have been behind the Australian embassy >bombing in September last year and the 2002 Bali bombing.
