The Financial Review recently did a great article on buying property overseas which included Indonesia and Bali in particular.
For those that noted non residents can't hold property in Bali, the laws have recently changed which now allows non residents to be noted on titles in Indonesia. Not too sure if you still need an Indonesian to be noted as well on the title or just a company incorporated in Indonesia but the article confirmed the new laws now gave certainity over title, unlike the previous structures being used.
