We have been staying at KBC for the last 15 years. Other than the bathrooms becoming a bit "tired" we can't fault it. The big asset is location. Close to the beach, close to the Art Market, close to the best restaurants, close to the Matahari dept. store, close to Waterbom, close to the go-karts and lets face it hotel rooms are only for sleeping in anyway.
