Same happened to me on the BTF recently (was pretty much tried and convicted in absentia as it were after commenting that my 9 yr old can't swim)- pissed me off at first and of course I initially wanted to respond and explain everything, but I quickly realized just how much of my precious time that would waste. People who rush to judgment and condemnation on this forum without first just checking the facts aren't worth a second thought - who the hell are they anyway? Do YOU know who this person who judged you is?? LOL, my great uncle, when in his 70's, was a stingy old bachelor, a real sourpuss of a guy, living alone with his dog and typewriter, on which he would type letter after letter to the editor of his local newspaper mouthing off about anything and everything. Well, his letters got published regularly, and I laugh to think that anything he had to say could be taken seriously - in print he was a 'big man', in reality... gawd!!! LOL...
Hope you take MY words to heart - but also remember how it felt and learn a lesson from it (we're none of us perfect after all!). Good luck to you!
