Hi, Mandira is wonderful, well we think it is, I suppose, everyone has different views. We stayed in the deluxe cottages, with the outdoor bathroom, (bath, toilet, shower undercover, then 2nd shower, in the open, disguised as a waterfall). Staff are friendly and obliging, (especially at 2 in the morning), breakfast included is all you could ask for, and more. The lounge area is open day and night, for free coffee and cake, and between 5.30 and 7 at night, free beer and cocktails, can't ask for much more than that!!. you will pay a little extra for these comforts, just talking to people on the beach, they had much cheaper accomodation, but you do get what you pay for. There are brand new rooms at Mandira, large double ones, I think they cost around the same as the cottages. Hope this helps, we love it there and plan on going back next year, we spoke to heaps of people that have been going back, some as many as 18 years, so it must have something going for it!!
