Seriously, though, no doubt she'd doing a little song and dance to get out of jail or get a lighter sentence. So would I. So would you.
She's not really in any danger whatsoever of serving 15 years, despite the hype. But for carrying two pills, she's already been punished enough. Give her a spanking and send her home. Or send her to me, and I'll administer the spanking.
If she has any sense (or is getting good advice), she's probably going to do and say a lot of weird things between now and the trial. Let's just sit back and watch the show and try not to judge her too harshly for doing strange things under difficult circumstances.
I'm trying to remember if I've ever actually seen a muslim woman in Indonesia wearing a veil on her hijab... it's pretty rare, I think. (In Java, at least.)
The more pertinent question is this: Do you really want to meet people who listen to Neil Mitchell (or Alan Jones or John Laws) in Bali? Or anywhere? Let them boycott Bali. Let them go stink up some other place.
