Yes, it is wooden, lovely rich wood, with a woven straw roof. Upstairs rooms have a high peaked ceiling. Huge comfy bed is on a raised level. Seating area indoors, but we spent most of our time sitting on the balcony soaking up the fantastic view!

If you are interested in art, a visit to the Neka Art Museum would be enjoyable as it shows art from the very first traditional style of painting right up to modern works. It helped me work out what I was looking for with paintings.
