All the ground floor rooms were surrounding the pool. To the best of my knowledge, these were all the deluxe rooms.
We had checked out at noon. And because our flight was at 11.30pm, they allowed us to use a room to have a shower and freshen up before our flight home. And the room they gave us was a ground floor room. It was the same as the room we had been staying in on the 5th floor, only it was a tad bigger.
So I'm guessing the deluxe rooms are more expensive as
A. they are literally at the foot of the pool, and
B. they're also bigger.
