I have stayed at the Melia - it is a massive hotel, more Euro's there than Aussies (presuming your Aussie). Its a beautiful hotel - really well laid out, really nice rooms etc however the cost to eat and drink in the hotel is very pricey. Also the location being Nusa Dua takes you away a bit from all the fab eateries that you could access if you stayed in Tuban! My friend just stayed at the Bintang and said it was fabulous. I stayed at the Discovery Kartika (just down the road from the Ramada Bintang) and well I will definitely be going back there to stay! First class without paying first class prices - hope that helps!
