Sorry for late part 3. Firstly will answer previous questions.

2. Necklaces were at Legian end of 66 road on right hand side facing beach. No they were not shell type, they can be found everywhere.
3.Pearls, no Ali does not have a shop but is known along the beach at end of 66 road .Just ask for Ali the pearl seller from Lombok. We bought triple twisted strands in black, white and pink for about 600,000 rup and have had them valued here for 400 aust.
Made's address for stress free shopping called Putri clothing shop

4. Quilt cover was made in a shop right next door to Merry's Leather shop in Padma opposite Bali Coconut Hotel.
On this holiday we also ate at a few places i must mention, Rumas very good. Lemongras [thai] very good. Queens Tandor {indian] excellent.Murnis Warung in Ubud lovely setting good food.Tekor, end of 66 road across from beach .good food great staff.
Now we didnt just eat and shop although that did take up alot of our time.We also made a visit to an orphange in gillimanuk [spelling?].This was arranged thru carry for kids and is a well worth while thing to do.We choose to go to an orphanage about 4 hours drive from seminyak and our driver informed us that not many people visit here because of the distance. On arrival we were greeted by the director and introduced to the children. With us we had bought a very large suitcase full of clothing and we also purchased rice and noodles on the drive there. Our driver was arranged thru carry for kids and purchased the rice for us.This was also an excellent day out as the drive was beautifull, ocean on oneside and volcano on other, speckled with rice paddies.I would recommend this as a great thing to do.My mother would have liked to bring all the children home.Although not much english was spoken a lot of laughs were had as my daughter took photos on her digital camera and then showed them to the children. The director informed us that the childrens future is looking better due to the help from Carry for Kids.
My daughter and myself had decided that we would have some time alone and go to Ubud for a couple of days.Charlie drove us there and we decided to stop at the bird park. This place is beautifull. My sister who has been to Bali many time has never really done the tourist stops. Her question was "why would you want to look at some silly birds?' When we arrived she was going to sit in the car with charlie but decided to come in at the last moment. On entering this place you are first greeted by the biggest and brightest blue maccaws just sitting on a perch. Wow they were just magnificent. The park is beautifully paved and landscaped so was no problem for my mother to get around. Many of the enclosures you walk thru with the birds.I must add that for a tourist stop this park has toilets out of a 5 starr resort. Isnt it funny how in Bali you compare toilets? I think they were even better than Poco Locos. The bird park i would recommend and my sister has not stopped talking about it.After our stop here we went onto Ubud and had lunch at Mades Warung.
Will post more later as work becons again
