- I can't remember the exact costs as it all went on the bill to worry about on the last day, and it wasn't a worry so it couldn't have been much.
Not many shops in Pacung. Maybe that's why I like it!
Next to the Pacung Indah there is a little warung where Phillip the Policeman lives (or maybe just eats). I know that you can get film and candy there. Further up the steep hill there is a Fuji shop where you can get you films processed and printed.
Take a local bemo up to the Baturiti markets for a look at how the locals shop and check out the working goldsmiths right at the back of the markets. The ride with the locals is a fascinating 1/4 hour, especially if you have a bag of Chuppa Chups to share around. Even better is to then go on up to the Bedugul markets, especially if there are schoolchildren in the bus. You can easily fall into conversations that will see you miss your stop if you haven't warned the driver where you're going. Spices, nuts, fruit, vegetables and flowers are spectacular here and well worth the ride up. Have a drink at the infamous Crackers Bar & Grill in the back left side corner of the markets. The ride down again, when it's easier to see the views down the valleys is even better and you're even more likely to miss your stop.
