G'day Natho.
I stayed at the Losari last week. It's awesome and if you're getting a good package, definately worth staying at.
It's not very big. There's about 50 rooms (and about another 50 under construction). It's 5 stories high and is like a U shape. Then inside the 'U' is the pool and spa area. Each room has a balcony, so if you were standing on the balcony of any room and looking down, you would be looking right into the pool. Or even if you jumped off any balcony, you would land in the pool. (Well you wouldn't do that but just to give you an idea) It's not the biggest pool but nice.
But as for the hotel and rooms itself, yeah awesome. It's like a month old so very brand new. We had a superior room on the 5th floor and it was great. I think we may have even been the first people to have stayed in it. Very roomy, very comfortable bed, cool pink and yellow linen, 51cm tv with international channels and in house movies, mini fridge, kettle with tea/coffee provided daily, awesome bathroom with like that classy marble type hotel floor to ceiling tiles. And all the amenities provided daily ie Soap, shampoo, moisturiser, bath gel, toothbrush and toothpaste etc.
There are also elevators, so that's exciting to see at a hotel in Bali.
American breakfast was also included and it was yum. We also ate dinner at the restaurant and it too was very nice.
Staff were just superb and friendly.
It's also in a good location and close to the beach.
Being new it was quiet and there weren't more than a handful of rooms occupied. This was great because it meant almost everytime we had the pool to ourselves.
Overall very good and highly recommended.
It's that sort of place that also depends on who you go with. Probably not so ideal for kids as it is small.
And you said you're going with mates? If that means a bunch of single blokes, then I wouldn't suggest Losari Hotel. If that's the case there's heaps more fun to be had at other hotels where perhaps the rooms and location aren't even half as good.
Any more questions just ask.
Cheers
