We have used Ketut Sudira for many trips around Bali - for day trips as well as transport to stay in different areas (we have entrusted him to look after our luggage whilst we are looking at things). We find him to be reliable, knowledgable and certainly able to converse with adults and children. Both Ketut and his van are immaculate and he is a safe driver. He has nine year old twin girls and is good with kids. He is in his early 30s. In 2001 we had our 12 and 14 year olds with us and he was very interested in what they liked at school, their hobbies and what music they liked. He played their music tapes as we drove around and got to know the words and would sing along. Sometimes the kids didn't want to look at temples and stuff, so would stay with him at the van. He has never been impatient with how long we spend anywhere and just laughs if we have taken a long time.
We just tell Ketut where we want to go and he takes us. He will suggest places if you wish, but he leaves it up to us where we go. I usually email him with ideas of where and when we want to go.
