Hi Slabs
Have emailed you some photos. hope the email works...sometimes our systems chucks a wobbly if we send more than 3 photos at a time! We stayed at the KP for a week in July and loved it. Hope to stay again next year. The breakfasts were good. Buffet style with the usual egg station, bacon, sausages (average), fried rice or noodles, sometimes a casserole type of dish with meat, usually some sort of potatoes, fresh fruit, corn flakes, bread/toast, sometimes pastries and/or pancakes (didn't take much notice of these as trying to minimise wheat intake), fruit juice, coffee/tea. You can see the beach from the restaurant. There was some building going on next door, with drills and power saws screeching during breakfast, but hopefully that will be finished soon (and not replaced by a noisy night club or something, as I'm not sure what purpose the building was going to serve upon completion).
Other food at Cafe the Sands and poolside was good, and reasonably priced. Drinks average hotel prices - not too expensive, but you can find cheaper in nearby restaurants/bars (or stock up at the supermarket). The staff are not gushingly friendly, but pleasant enough.
Our room was a Deluxe, which is the lowest price, but it was in a great location overlooking the pool in Y block. The rooms and bathrooms are a good size. The pool is 50 metres, so lots of room to swim around. Didn't experience any major problem getting a pool lounge. There is quite a bit of shade around the pool. There's a few restaurants and bars within a short walking distance, so you don't have to go too far if you're feeling a bit lazy.
