We looked at GVC in July this year. They are doing a gradual renovation. They have 4 bungalows up and running and they are rated as superior and are $60 per night. They are excellent and bigger and more luxurious than the standard rooms. I would gladly choose them. We were the first guests at GVC and loved it, but the Australian manager left for a reason not known to me and the hotel went down hill. Young rowdy Aussies became the main guests. From all accounts the hotel has improved and your sister should have a good time, but get a superior room.
