Each time we go to Bali, we take a scrip or two of this with us. As well as being specific to Ladies' Thrush, it is also specific for Bali Belly or that type of Giardia-caused infection.
Charcoal tablets, Norrid, are our normal first step and we seldom have to go beyond this.
Eating chilli is good, because it rushes decaying meats, to which we Westerners are too addicted, quickly through the body before they do damage.
I'm no way a Medico, just relaying what qualified Doctors have advised me.
My private, unqualified opinion is, that most so-called Bali Belly eruptions are just over-use of icy drinks in a hot environment, causing a form of colic. It would be sacrilegious to suggest drinking beer other than cold. However, try to keep your water drinking at room temp. Not everything has to be icy cold; try it and see if it helps you as it has helped us.
Norrid is our standby and has saved many people enduring pain. Ask Cracker!
Before some cynic asks how many shares I own in the Norrid Company, let me tell you NONE, but I wish I had!
The old adage works well with the Bali addendum.
"All things in moderation, except Bintang".
