Ah ah ok let me first say I have absolutely NOTHING against japanese/asian people, I love their culture and actually my next holidays will be 2 weeks in Tokyo this winter. So please let me explain my statement...

First Nikko is a Japanese company, they have hotels mostly in Japan, a few in Europe and of course the one in Bali... meaning that 60-80% of their customer are from Japan.

I met the Hotel manager at the *welcome party* and It turned out he was from Switzerland as well, we started chatting about the hotel and he told me that most of the customers are from Japan, he also told me they usually stay no longer than 3-4 days. See, all together the average worker in Japan get 104 days off per year all together, Bank holidays, holidays, week-end included. Now do your math's 52 weeks a year, means we already have 104 days off only with the week-ends + we have Bank holidays + we have holidays, it means they have to work 6-7 days a week to have some vacations.

Anyway he told this is some kind of problems, cause they come in large groups for the week-end (they actually fly from Japan Friday night, arrive Saturday morning stay until Monday evening arrive Tuesday morning back in Japan and then go directly to work... my GOD) and gets completely crazy/drunk. He told me he already had a lot of complaints.

I recommended this Hotel because it's calm & relaxing and I thought it was important to say to the people on the forum they might face this problem, it was not a generality...like ALL Japanese people are noisy, it was more like if you decide to choose the Nikko then beware of this

After all it was no big deal, they were just having fun and I guess if I was staying 3-4 days I would do the same, it was not racist at all in my opinion...

I'm sorry if I offended any of you on this forum, it was just a misunderstanding...

bye
