Sorry I hadn't had time to answer your query below. When I stayed at Inna I was in a standard room and it was much the same as the barong, perhaps a little bigger. Love the location of Inna Kuta as it was so handy to beach, Matahari etc. Though in saying that the Barong is good as you can stumble home from the pub! Bathroom condition was better at the Barong, but not sure if that is the case in the bungalows. Service wise I preferred the Barong, it was v easy to get to know the staff there and I did not get that comraderie at the Inna. Foodwise I thought the Barong was better when ordering room service but the Inna has a little restaurant facing the beach that does great pizzas etc. It depends on how old you are as well, when I stayed at the Inna it was Dec 03 and at that time there was not a great deal of AUstralians or people my age, whereas the barong I met heaps of people. You should give the Inna a go though, I like trying to stay at different hotels but in saying that I would stay at both hotels again
