Just got back 2 weeks ago after 2 weeks in Kuta, Am already organising next years trip.
Took Aussie $'s and cashed it $100.00 at a time so it was nice and easy to see if you were being ripped off (they tried about every third change, even at the Kodak shop!)
Had a NAB Gold Card and used the ATM about four times (700,000 Rp each time) the NAB charges $1.00 for account enquiries and $4.00 for a withdrawl.
Have a great trip
