$1000 aussie will get you a long way. We used about 300 last visit for 6 days. was plenty for us, at the time. this time will buy more clothes and stuff so will take around 500 for the week. all depends on ya tastes and budget. no need to take it all in cash though. just put it in ya bank and use the atm's good rates and spits out your money in rupia. enjoy ya trip. we leave in 12 hours. woooo hoooo
