Not sure what time your flights arrive but i imagine after flights from London and getting off in the heat you MAY NOT want to shop especially in the heat. First suggestion if you are mainly just going to Bali and not any cooler climates on your holiday you will need minimal luggage 2 adults and 1 child we can mostly pack in 1 suitcase. Especially around amed you definately wont require dressy clothes and you can always have clothes washed by the balines women for a very reasonable amount so still should have plenty of room for your giveaways. On the way to Amed probably about half hr away there local shops stock the plastic bags of local coffee, sugar, rice etc which weve bought before when weve been invited into homes etc in our drivers village nearby. These shops also have multitude of little snack items bisciuts lollies that are very cheap. Another suggestion that doesnt take up alot of room is bubbleblowers that you can get in aust that they use for weddings in big packs of 10 or 20 .Toothbrushes are also very light even squash what you can into your hand luggage. as ive said whatever will be appreciated but just give the things out slowly while your there to share them around.I can remember how the whole family came out for a chat and thanked me for a soft dog id bought in the post xmas sales and had a big ribbon around its neck to a baby that was about 6 months old they lived in one of the first house on front of beach. It was a great insight for my 7 year old esp when another little girl took us to her house at the back to meet her mother and they honestly had cooking pots and thats about it. For the real bali as it used to be think you picked a great spot Have a great time Judi
