Last year we booked through them for a week and Ghusti (their driver in Bali) picked us up from the airport. During the week we were there we purchased a rather expensive painting and it was rolled in a tube. A couple of days before we were due to come home, I got the dreaded Bali Belli and was really sick. On the night we were due to come home, one of Ghusti's drivers picked us up from the hotel at 10.30 p.m. for the 1am flight home. I was really sick during the ride to the airport and my husband told my son to look after the painting while he got the other bags. We got all the way through customs and immigration and up to the departure lounge and we realised that my son had left the painting in the car that delivered us to the airport. I went and rang Ghusti immediately and he said that he would bring it back to the airport but that wouldn't have been any good because we were already through immigration. He said he would take it back to the office and get it to us in Australia some how.
When we came home, I rang David at Golden Bali and on his next trip up there, he bought the painting home for us. It cost us $400 for the painting so it was well worth it and David and Les couldn't have been more helpful. We certainly wouldn't have got that kind of service if we had booked with Flight Centre or someone.
We are going again in 6 weeks but this time for 2 weeks and have got a really great deal with Golden Bali again.
