Puri is the first time I had stayed in sanur. (I hadnt been to Bali for years and we use to stay in quiet little Kuta back then LMAO) I personally loved heading up Amed, Candi Dasa and Lovina.This is because we go to spend time together, not to shop. To experience a different culture etc. As it was hubbies first trip we stayed in Sanur at the end of our holiday so we had access to Kuta etc. spent one afternoon in kuta and honestly didnt really enjoy it. (not clubbing people and had done enough shopping)And he didnt either so when we take the kids in 2007 we will be staying far away from kuta and sanur!!! Also heading to Lombok and the Gillis for a week aswell.
But that said.
i am returning in october with a friend for a bit of a girls trip and we are staying in legian! But this is a different holiday LOL, its a drink shop, swim trip so Kuta/legian is perfect.
Anyway I have heard nice things about Griya Santrian, being really friendly and nice to stay at.
