I dont want to believe how bloody the agent did it to you. Last time, I used Komang's services and paid around Rp300k-310k for 8 hour drive a day with his complement if the trip to be an hour longer. This price includes a fresh cold bottle of water to cool you down after sweat walking, parking fee, and fuel.
