is often very sweet , espec the white bread - you can really taste the sugar and it's a bit weird with eggs etc
I have never looked for brown bread or alternative, as there are so many other things to eat , it's only breakfast that has been a worry
Most of the meals have rice in some form, which you have to be careful of , espec fried rice in Nasi Goreng etc ( yummy )
The good thing is that you may find that despite the different foods, your sugar levels go down rather than up , because of the extra exercise like walking and swimming, and generally healthier diet , and the heat making you want to eat less . I can usually reduce my insulin by 30% and lose 3-4 kgs in weight over a fortnight :-)
