Feb of this year and although we just walked in off the street didn't know it was a time share until a couple of days later. When we did find out there was no hard sell we just said we couldn't afford it and the conversation moved on to other topics. It is a very nice place to stay but I wouldn't stay too long as Candi Dasa is very very quiet. Suggest you email the place direct and explain your concerns. We found the owners (English) to be fine. At least that way you will know what is expected and can hold them in check if they step over the boundries, though I don't feel that will be a problem.
